As a MIT Economist, Erica first worked on "Wall Street" on the options trading floor in San Francisco. She moved back to Boston to connect professional investors with analysts, and then moved into stock analysis because the real excitement was in evaluating trends and market risks by diving deep into areas of opportunity.
Areas of focus included vaccines, diagnostic testing, stem cells and tissue engineering, neuromodulation, orthopedics, cardiology, and diabetes.
These skills translate well to the legislature where instead of learning all about the latest medical inventions, Erica is able to dive deep into policy in a variety of areas to benefit the people of New Hampshire.
As Vice Chairman of the House Health Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee, Erica is able to draw upon her 12 years as a Medical Device Analyst for several investment companies to see opportunities and risks and apply this knowledge for the benefit of Granite Staters.
